St Remigius Church, Harvest

This painting holds a dear memory for me. I was listening to the church bells and rustling of leaves as I painted this, during the Harvest Family Service. The stubbled fields lay before the church in Hethersett, just outside Wymondham. I love this time of year, from memories of donating decorated shoe boxes of food at school, to watching the combine harvesters at work, and celebrating the food we grow. Painted late Sepember 2023.
