Capturing the last of the rapeflower, as the cow parsley burst into bloom. I was taken by the swathes of yellow winding up to the horizon. This was a hot day where I sought the shade of an old oak tree and felt the excitement of Summer approaching. Painted early May 2025, in two hours.
