A field of rape flowers, just a short walk from my home. The sun had been out all morning and I was swarmed with bugs. Whilst painting, I had to close the lid of my pochade box, to wait for rain and hail to stop. A dog passed under my tripod and almost took everything with it. I do love the challenge of plein air painting! Painted mid May 2021.
